FRAGILE MIND/BODY CONNECTION

As humans we tend to feel frustrated, fearful, when things happen out of our control. When emotions take over our bodies and brains and we can’t do anything but let it happen. This can lead to bad decisions, pain and heart ache, sometimes despair and feeling of hopelessness. But also love, lust and joy. By styling the fabric in certain ways on and around the model I wanted to capture the fragility connection of human emotion and the body and those feelings that every person goes through. Using the fabrics to represent these emotions taking over the physical body I hope that everyone could relate to at least one of the images. The use of materials, patterns and colours I have aimed to show all kinds of emotions and feeling.
