THE FEMININE SENSE

This photoshoot signifies the essence of a feminine sense, to be feminine is a perception or projection of oneself. As we know now gender is no longer a discussion of sexes, it is a fluid and individual concept. When working and researching within the beauty and wellness industries femininity is often harnessed and heavily catered to. There is often romantic colours and smells, like pinks and reds with floral fragrances and motifs. Surprisingly my practice doesn't often lead me to create very feminine and delicate imagery. With this shoot I wanted to create something that is bold and bright, yet soft and delicate.
